For years, we saw players and families in the Athens and Oconee County area searching for quality baseball training and softball training, often driving hours to find it. As coaches, parents, and lifelong students of the game, we knew our community needed something better — a true home for player development. That vision became Top Notch Training, a 10,400-square-foot climate-controlled indoor facility designed to help athletes of all ages reach their full potential.
Founded by Coach Randall Trout and Coach Mark Robinius, Top Notch Training combines decades of coaching experience with modern technology and an unwavering commitment to fundamentals. With state-of-the-art equipment like the HitTrax system, BlastMotion technology, and Trackman system, along with configurable batting cages in Athens, GA, and a 4,000-square-foot outdoor turf area dedicated to training, every detail was designed with one goal in mind: helping players get better every single day.
But Top Notch Training is more than just a facility — it’s a community. It’s where young athletes learn confidence, where teams come together, and where hard work turns into results. Whether you’re just picking up a glove or preparing for college baseball or softball, our coaches are here to guide you every step of the way.
